Committee (CPRRC)
West Northumberland has put together an impressive team of 17 community representatives consisting of physicians, town council members, the chamber of commerce, various community agencies and hospital administration to discuss:
  • Physician recruitment needs (a growing population with a large catchment area);
  • Physician recruitment & retention challenges and opportunities (a chance to collaboratively bring in family physicians);
  • Relationship building with community partners, government agencies and implementing innovative recruitment and selection practices;
  • Create and pursue a multi-faceted marketing campaign for physician recruitment & retention;
  • Build community awareness and support for recruitment initiatives.
