The Ontario Medical
Association is the professional association representing
the physicians of Ontario. The OMA is the provincial division
of the Canadian Medical Association.
The OMA is governed by a Board of Directors that includes representatives from each health region in Ontario and each OMA section, including the Section of Rural Medicine, which is described later under Other Organizations Supporting Rural Physicians.
